โWe found The Royal a well managed hotel run by Phil and his staff. It offered excellent food and accommodation complimented with excellent garden facilities where we could have a drink and relax. Ideally situated the hotel is only minutes from Heyshem seafront.โ
โHotel, even without breakfast service, is lovely. Kitchen available to use. While walking I explored slightly further afield and discovered a little cafe on the beach and the stunning old Heysham Village. I heartily recommend staying at this hotel. Owner very helpful. โ

The hotel is located within easy reach of the m6, providing a warm welcome, to the weary traveler.
The room was fairly basic but comfortable.

โLove room, bathroom very clean. Food in pub very good. Could do with a separate room check in area as the bar can be very busy. Glad of the car parking!โ
โRan by a wonderful couple who are really friendly and accommodating. The lodge is in a beautiful location and the facilities and room are lovely.
Breakfast was included and we were asked beforehand what we wanted so it would be ready for the time we requested. And it tasted wonderful.
Me and my girlfriend have visited here twice now and I'd greatly recommend a stay here.โ

โThe room was very nicely furnished out. The one down side was the view of room!! The breakfast was very good. The amenities werenโt used but will return to do so in the near future. The staff in all areas of the hotel were amenable to requests. Thank you โ
