Easy to find and well sign posted. The property was clean and tidy with a nice little welcome pack. The view was stunning, even with misty starts and the little play area was easily supervised from the pods. The owner was so friendly and had two gorgeous dogs (in the private garden) who liked to keep an eye on proceedings. Really good to find a property with space for three children as it’s rare. The property is also within easy distance of Kingussie and Newtonmore as well as many of the attractions of the highlands.

Exactly what we were hoping to find, a simple yet comfortable glamping experience, perfect for overseas travelers, with all the necessities provided on site. Definitely would recommend for outdoor enthusiasts and families!

Nice place for a family stay

Lovely location had a small park to keep the youngsters happy. Check in was not very straight forward the site is a no contact site. And your ment to watch a online video before you get there. Great in theory but given your in the Scottish highlands and mobile signal is not at its best. Would have been easier to just put the info in a email. Also when you check in your asked to pay a deposit to cover cleaning etc . Would be nice to give all this information at the booking stage. The smoke alarm in the pod had the battery taken out of it. And the bathroom fan was covered in dust.

The pods are pretty and new, but much too close together and in a big clearing, no trees. The 1 charcoal cook tepee is nice, but it requires purchase of smokeless charcoal from the owners for 9 pounds. The worst thing, though, are the unhelpful, unfriendly, downright critical and unwelcoming owners! We are very polite, friendly guests, but they only greeted us with complaints that we hadn’t checked in online, which requires WI-FI, when we were driving hours through remote highlands on dangerous 1-lane roads with 2-way traffic ( the online check-in opens when check-in begins, so you HAVE to be en route)! They complained repeatedly that we booked through Expedia. Worst, when our car was stuck in their thick gravel driveway, they very reluctantly handed a shovel to me, a disabled senior, to dig out. After hours lost, our car rental company towed us out, and THEN the owner said he could have done it for us!! Who does that to guests?! Their parting words were a criticism that we got stuck in the driveway and a begrudging acknowledgment that we smoothed out their gravel driveway. Who treats guests that way?! Go somewhere else. If you must come here, rent pod 1 only. Never choose unit 4: gravel is too thick to gain traction up the hill. Units 2 & 3 parking requires 3-point turn into tiny spots. The only easy parking is Unit 1.

Just on our way back home & we never wanted to leave. Amazing place & we will definitely be returning next year. Fiona was very helpful & we would recommend visiting nearby Pattack Falls, also the bothy cafe in Lagan does the best Bacon & Egg sandwich you’ll ever have!!

Great Glamping!

Very thoughtfully and comprehensively appointed pods. Quite spacoious and comfortable for 4 people. Nice base for exploring Aviemore and most of the National Park. Lovely hosts.

Das war mal eine echte Überraschung. Die Besitzer sind sehr freundlich und aufmerksam. Das Zimmer war super komfortabel, genau wie das dazu gehörige Badezimmer. Das Frühstück war sehr lecker und preislich angemessen. Die Aussicht ist dank der Lage wunderschön.

Highly recommend this B&B!

Can't recommend this place more. We stayed in the main house in a double room. It was immaculately clean and nicely designed, hospitality was spot on. Lovely breakfast in bed! Newtonmore is a short drive away and it's a good location for exploring the Cairngorms from!

Perfect for what it is - pods are cute and really impressed how well the space is used. The BBQ pack is a great idea and even though it was raining hard, we used the BBQ pod which was great fun to BBQ despite the rain.

My son and I spent one night while touring Scotland. We had a very comfortable evening and terrific conversation with the innkeepers over breakfast. They also provided a recommendation for an excellent dinner in town. Grateful for our stay!
