The room is good, but the breakfast is quite disappointing compared to the reputation of the hotel.
There is nothing around the hotel.

We had a fantastic time at Flamingo Cat Ba! Our concierge, Tran, was always super helpful and friendly coming with recommendations for what to do on the island and also sorting out bookings and scooter rentals for a good price. The views from this hotel are next to none, wake up to sunrise over Ha Long Bay, absolutely magical! And the breakfast and dinner buffet was very varied and tasty. 10/10 experience🙌

Cat ba Serena homestay was an amazing experience. Our family of five felt so comfortable, and the staff were extremely kind and helpful. Linda was very responsive and instrumental in organizing a full day boat tour which did not disappoint ( we even saw the endangered langur monkeys sleeping on the cliff). Our second day we rented motorbikes from The homestay and explored the island including caves within the national park. Our kids especially enjoyed the food at the homestay- amazing spring rolls, fried rice , and slow cooked pork and eggs. Thank you so much Linda and staff at Cat Ba Serena for making our stay so memorable!
