"We arrived late after a long travel and wanted something close to the airport. We had limited options last minute. The walls in the condo needed a good scrub down. The beds were comfortable and clean. They provided way more than enough towels which was nice. However I felt like the place needed upgrades and wasn’t worth the big price. "PLEASE DON'T EVER STAY HERE IF YOU VALUE YOUR VACATION. YOUR PIECE, YOUR HAPPINESS, PLEASE.PLEASE DON'T STAY HERE. THE STAFF IS COMPLETELY MISERABLE. YOU HAVE TO DRIVE UP A STEEP INCLINE. YOU CANNOT PARK YOUR CAR IF YOU RENT A CAR. BUY YOUR ROOM, YOU HAVE TO WALK APP OR DOWN A VERY, VERY STEEP, INCLINE, TO GET ANYWHERE, THAT YOU WANNA GO. THEY PRETEND THAT THEY HAVE A SHUTTLE SERVICE, WHICH IS LIKE A LITTLE BUS. THAT IS A CRAP LIE. THE GUY THAT TAKES YOU TO WHERE YOU WANNA GO IS ONLY OPEN DURING CONVENIENT HOURS AND THE TIME THAT WE NEEDED HIM WHEN WE WERE AT THE VERY BOTTOM TOWARDS THE BEACH, HIS CAR HAPPENED TO BREAK DOWN AND WE HAVE WE 'RE NOT NOTIFIED. WE ASKED ANOTHER DRIVER, BUT IT WAS SINCE IT WAS THE SISTER PROPERTY, THEY WOULD NOT TAKE US. WE HAD TO WALK UP THE ENTIRE WAY, AND OF COURSE THERE'S NO PHONES IN THE ROOM. THERE WAS NO COFFEE IN THE ROOM. IT'S COSTA RICA. THIS IS WHERE COFFEE IS MADE GROWN. EVERYTHING THERE SHOULD BE COFFEE IN THE ROOM. THE PLACE IS SO CUTE SO MUCH POTENTIAL. BUT WITH THE HORRIBLE STAFF AND HORRIBLE AMENITIES, WE TRY TO GET ARE ALL INCLUSIVE DINNER. IT WAS ONE RESTAURANT THEY SERVED US RICE AND BEANS WITH HOT. DOGS AS THE MAIN DISH.WHERE WAS MY PROTEIN? I PAID ENOUGH FOR THIS PLACE THAT I SHOULD HAVE HAD A LITTLE BIT OF SOMETHING. THERE ARE SO MANY PLACES IN COSTA RICA THAT HAVE AMAZING AMENITIES.WHEN YOU TRY TO ESCAPE YOUR WORLD TO GO ON VACATION, YOU WANT THE ACCOMMODATIONS THERE IS NOTHING AT THIS PLACE. "The property is older but very nice. It was nice and quiet and not really a party place. Just wish they had more activities to do and the biggest let down was the location of the beachfront. Not very nice looking but in town the beach was amazing. The restaurant was decent not spectacular. I just found the staff mot very attentive almost had to always go to them for something especially at dinner. Very rarely checking up on you or filling your water or offer drinks. Did I hate it? No but I didnt exactly love it. Probably won't stay again"

"This was my first time staying at a boutique hotel, and I have to say, it completely changed my perspective on travel. I wasn't sure what to expect, but I absolutely loved the experience. Unlike larger resorts, there were no overwhelming crowds, which made the stay feel much more private, relaxing, and personal. The property itself is beautiful. The iguanas were everywhere and added so much character to the resort! The beach was gorgeous, and we were lucky enough to enjoy some truly spectacular sunsets though it was rainy season. The food exceeded my expectations. Breakfast was incredible every morning, and dinner was always something to look forward to because there was a different theme each night. My favorite was the Costa Rican and Italian themed dinners, which were absolutely delicious and gave us a chance to experience local flavors. One of the highlights of our stay was Alberto, one of the saloneros (waiters). He was friendly, attentive, hospitable, and genuinely made us feel welcome every day. His service stood out and truly elevated our experience. He was a shining example of hospitality and, honestly, provided a much warmer and more memorable experience than the receptionist lady. We booked a room with a balcony, which was nice, but we ended up spending most of our time at the pool and beach. The swim-up bar was fantastic and became one of our favorite spots to relax and enjoy the atmosphere. Overall, we had a wonderful stay."

"This was such a great place, the views and staff were amazing! It was awesome staying right off the beach. The beach was beautiful and not overcrowded. We could walk down the beach to different restaurants. We caught a sail boat ride that picked us up from the beach. The hotel staff coordinated it all. Would definitely go back to this hotel!!"

"This hotel has some of the best views we’ve ever experienced. The infinity pool is absolutely stunning, the grounds are spotless and beautifully maintained, and the wildlife around the property made the stay even more special. We heard howler monkeys in the trees both front and back, saw green macaws flying overhead daily, and plenty of other tropical birds throughout our stay. The service was excellent from start to finish. Check-in was friendly and welcoming, and the breakfast staff were always kind and attentive. The rooms were well equipped with shampoo, conditioner, body wash, a hairdryer, and a mini fridge/mini bar. We never had an issue finding loungers by the pool, and the sunsets from both the balcony and infinity pool were absolutely incredible. There is also a pool bar serving a great assortment of blended drinks, local beers, craft beers, and hard liquor available for an additional charge — perfect for relaxing by the pool and enjoying the view. Breakfast was good overall and fairly consistent each day. They served scrambled eggs, coffee, juices, yogurt, cereal, fresh fruit, and pastries and of course gallo pinto. The hotel shuttle was a great perk, running hourly from 9am–9pm to downtown Tamarindo and the Langosta Beach Club. We often walked into town, but the hills on the way back can definitely be a workout in the heat. The Langosta Beach Club was another huge highlight and an amazing included amenity. It’s right on the beach with a beautiful pool."
