Property was in new condition and plenty of space for family of five. We did not use the small kitchen, but it included a microwave and small refrigerator which was nice. We arrived at 11:00 am and had time to eat Yuba and visit all the temples in the world heritage area. The next morning we hiked up through the beautiful woods to see Shiraito Falls and Shrine Takinoo-inari it was our favorite. Stop at key coffee!
If you are looking to spend a few days in Nikko, buy an unlimited travel pass from Asakusa for ¥4,600. I traveled from Tokyo and the roundtrip itself was already ¥8,300 yen
Wonderful mountains, lakes history!
Nikko was very beautiful! A great escape from the city. Definitely wear some comfortable shoes, everywhere is worth the walk, it’ll just take time to get there on foot

Make sure you dine at the hotel restaurant. The food is very good!
