Perfect Norfolk Island Getaway – Jacaranda Cottages Has It All From the moment, my husband and I arrived at Jacaranda Cottages, it was clear that this was going to be a wonderful base for a fantastic holiday experience. Hosts, Bookie and Vanessa have truly thought of everything you could possibly need, and then some. The cottage was spotlessly clean, beautifully maintained, and incredibly well-equipped, including cozy blankets, beach towels, picnic gear, and even a local mobile phone to use during the stay – every little detail had been considered to make things easy, relaxing, and enjoyable. The peaceful location gave us that wonderful "away-from-it-all" feeling, yet we were just a short drive from the shops, beaches, and historic sites. Waking up to the sound of birds and the views over the rolling green countryside is the kind of serenity that’s hard to find. The warm welcome and local tips from Bookie were very helpful. Whether you're here to explore, unwind, or a bit of both, Jacaranda Cottages is the perfect base. Highly recommended for anyone looking for comfort, privacy, and the kind of thoughtful touches that turn a good holiday into a great one

The property was immaculate with everything you would need. It was very quiet no noise from the other cabins and a beautiful view. Five minutes to town and good restaurants around the area. The owners were lovely and they recommended lots of places of interest. We were very happy with our choice to stay there.

Quality peaceful cottage

Lovely friendly hosts thank you Vanessa and Bookie. Cottage set amongst beautiful sub-tropical gardens in a group of 5 in a very quiet laneway where cows often graze and just 5 minutes drive to the village centre. Very spacious with high quality furnishings and a view from a large deck down the valley with a distant sea view. We just loved our 8 day stay in the cottage which had everything to make a wonderful holiday. We used the cottage as a comfy base to explore the island by car, we will remember our stay fondly for years to come and highly recommend.

Great accommodation

Enjoyed our stay at Jacaranda Park Cottages during our 7 night stay on Norfolk Island. Cottages are extremely well appointed and immaculate with lovely views across the valley from the deck. The cottages are close to Burnt Pine's shops and restaurants. Bookie and Vanessa were great hosts.

Nearly-deads welcome

Neat and tidy, but in the style of rooms for ancient roamers there are plastic labels plastered on everything reminding you not to do this or that - not something which lends itself to an ambience of relaxation. A common phrase for Norfolk Island is that it is for newly-weds and nearly-deads, and despite it's absolutely beautiful scenery, the cultural epoch exuded by many of the shops and resorts such as Jacaranda is much more one for the Gray Nomad clan.
