Great location down a very quiet alley, 1 minute from Campo Santo Maria Formosa, less than 10 minutes feom Rialto and St. Mark's Square. All meals were away from tourist zone, 1-5 minute away from the apartment--Gondola ride right from the Campo as well. Apartment was clean and new; very convenient for us with young son to eat a few meals in and to take breaks midday just a few minutes from the sights....

"We read about the stairs going up to the apartment and planned our luggage accordingly. I can see how some unprepared travelers may find this issue insurmountable as we climbed about 5 sets of stairs. Once inside the main Red Door the vacation will begin.
