North Central Houston, Houston hotel rooms at the Independent

"I stayed here because of the price but was very uncomfortable it is a lot of drug activity and prostitution and the front desk or the property owners do not care at all!!! Now I will say it was very quiet at night random people knocked on the door at 4am Juanita safe place for a family"

"This is an older hotel. It was fine for one night. When we walked into the room there were jelly beans (candy) on the floor and shower had hair in it. It was okay for one stay. Did not have the breakfast or the parking. The shuttle ride and driver was extremely nice and got us to the airport and back on time. I would give him 5 stars!"

"On the breakfast the bread is old and the spinach was rotten, and there was not a waffle maker"

"The shuttle came quickly once I called to inform the front desk that I had arrived. The driver, Steve, was very professional, courteous and helpful. He loaded and unloaded my bags and helped me to my room. The room itself was nice and clean. My checkout was quick and the shuttle was waiting for those of us for departure. That return trip to the airport was quick and the driver very friendly and helpful as well. All I all, it was a great experience. "
