“We had a non-smoking room, new paint, but it still smelled like old cigarette smoke and something else. The bed was comfortable. They are trying to make it better.”

“Me and my family stayed here for the weekend while we attended Planet comic con getting 2 rooms. The hotel was great place to rest and stay with clean rooms and very comfortable beds. The walls were a little thin being able hear loud but muffled talking and laughter through them, family had a minor issue with the temperature control in their mini fridge but overall it's a good place. It also is in walking distance from a few restaurants which is a good bonus.”

“Everything was fine until I went to leave the next morning. When I tried to take my shower, there was no water pressure in the shower, and no hot water. So no shower to start my day. I informed them on checkout, and there was another gentleman who also had the same issue. We were given points, which is great, but really doesn't do much to make up for having to go to work away from home without being able to take a shower and clean up for the day. ”

“The heating unit worked great. I was able to sleep soundly. There was a great variety of stores nearby. I enjoyed a very nice Mexican meal.”

“Room very clean, staff helpful. Enjoyed breakfast both days, fresh and hot. Good variety, real scrambled eggs, no powdered eggs.”

“It was nice enough for what we needed. The beds were not comfortable for me, and they cut off breakfast too early. Breakfast was pretty bland and very basic, processed eggs and cereal. It was fairly clean. I've stayed in worse places but will try something else next time.”

“I checked in, they gave me a key for a room that was occupied. Embarrassing. then I got moved up to 3rd floor. Next morning the elevator is out and I have to lug my bags, purse, coffee thermos and sack of snacks down the stairs. I am alone and 74 years old. Not a great experience. ”

“Definitely not 8 stars, not in this decade. Also beware breakfast is not included. ”

“My go to place for the nights before and after flights in and out of KC. Great staff and accommodations. Never a problem and the shuttle is very convenient.”

“My only complaint was with Expedia. Paid for a king room, but when we checked in the desk said they only had queen rooms. Was told we would receive a refund as the room was slightly less, but never did.”
