North Knoxville, Knoxville hotel rooms at the Scottish Inn

"Do not stay here. I made a reservation for 2 queen beds, they only had one queen. Luckily they found a room with two beds after I was calling their corporate. It smells like a combo of cigarettes and weed. The bed is not a platform bed and is missing the box spring. There is no iron, no room coffee maker and the coffee maker down stairs only has decaffeinated. There is no housekeeping. If you want clean towels, you have to take the towels down to the front desk and exchange them but keep in mind that the front desk opens at nine otherwise there’s nobody there. When I checked out, I had to just leave the key up by their pulldown steel barrier where the front desk is. "

"The hotel needs serious renovations. The hallways and carpet were dingy from ceiling to floor. The room was clean but the ironing board and iron were extremely old. The one positive was the staff was excellent."

"Was in town for a concert, so hotel options were very limited. Ended up trying this place out and was pleasantly surprised. The room was very clean, and the staff was great with an easy check-in and check-out process, even with a late-night check-in. Would highly recommend if you need a "budget" option to stay a night. Only downside would be that the walls are a bit thin, so it can be loud in the mornings with guests leaving"
