"This property was not up to par with previous Sleep Inn properties so I was a little disappointed. I don’t think my mattress had ever been rotated so it listed badly towards one side resulting in a not so great night of sleep. But it was clean, and the shower was good. Breakfast was meh; hotel staff stayed hidden though the young woman that checked me in was very patient and pleasant."

"Our experience at this hotel was extremely disappointing. The room was poorly cleaned upon arrival. The linens and towels did not appear fresh or crisp, and the bathroom sink and floors were dirty, with visible hair on them. There was even a dirty, wet facecloth left beside the sink when we checked in. The breakfast area was also unsatisfactory. The carpets were heavily stained, and food items appeared to be left out for extended periods throughout the day. Another major concern was housekeeping. Our rooms were not serviced daily. My traveling companion could smell marijuana in the hallway, which added to the negative impression of the property. When he asked a housekeeper to refresh his room, he was told, “You’re a stayover guest and not on the list. You have to talk to the front desk.” Overall, the cleanliness, maintenance, and customer service fell well below expectations. Based on this experience, I would not stay at this hotel again and would not recommend it to others."
The Scarlet, Lincoln, a Tribute Portfolio Hotel

"My stay here at the Scarlet Hotel was for three full nights we did have ballet service for the first 24 hours, but as I was coming and going more often, I just parked across the street which is pretty convenient if you’re resourceful I loved the open space around the hotel. They were buildings but it was an architectural marvel. I was on the higher floor so I had a better vantage point. The staff was great and very beautiful every one of them. We sat in the outside area for drinks at the Wl and Good. Wonderful staff all the way around. We had coffee every morning. I didn’t care for the flavored coffees after the first morning so I just had regular coffee and added my cream and sugar. The rooms were spacious and the only way I knew this is because the outlet hadn’t charged my phone. When I move the table to change to the second outlet, I looked the corner, and there were spiderwebs. It was a little dusty so it could afford to be fully cleaned probably more often than it is done, housekeeping yeah. Other than that, I had a wonderful experience. The aesthetics were pleasing & the staff were very helpful. There are perfectly adequate options for food there but with all of the options elsewhere shouldn’t be a problem DoorDash or Uber if you did not want to eat anything there. Downtown is six minutes away even though “O” street was shut down and it was a little harder to maneuver so 8 minutes if you get lost. Very pleasant stay. Will return."
