"A solid budget option in Newport. The beds were comfortable, the bath was clean. It had nice access (0.7mi) to both the ocean and shops. Breakfast was simple, but good. Nearby dining options were plentiful. The pool was indoor and a hit with the kids. My only real complaint was the smell. The room had a strong musty/moldy odor. The only way to minimize it was to leave the patio door open. But since we were on the first floor, I did not want to do that all night long. So we dealt with it. We did ask maintenance to see if they could do anything and he said he did not notice the smell.
Also, we were there 4 days and did not have any room service. It seems to be something that they only do between guests."
