“Hi I’m a UT Austin alumni and this was a visit to Austin after 20 some yrs with my college son. The hotel had a sense of class and its connections with the univ brought me back memories of UT days. As for thr accommodation, it was spacious in and out and overall it was nice. “i live about 30 miles north but stay in this hotel when i visit for a show. this place is stupid crazy close to (dirty) 6th st. i like this hotel because it is constantly perfect, affordable, and just a splash of retro. safe parking underneath. great pool and i enjoy waking up to have coffee on the patio. on a side note, i inadvertently booked a "cabin" room one time. it was super cheap, but i missed the small print. smaller room, but you utilize an english style community bathroom. keep...
