I have food allergies and they looked after me with great attention and care. The meals were wonderful. Rodenberg is a beautiful place to visit with a lovely walking tour. "We got spectacular winter weather, so the view and balcony were quite wonderful. Reception was particularly welcoming and helpful with our special requests and even managed to sort out a spa treatment at the last minute. I had the small but well-appointed spa/sauna area all to myself, fun and relaxing. Oddly, the room amenities were spare: one liquid soap/shampoo combo product was it, had to rent(!) a spa robe. But the low-season price, included breakfast, spa with treatments, and gorgeous area...

"The hotel could be easily missed as the only signage on the building is “Hessenland” and only small stickers of “Days Inn” are affixed to the windows and entrance. The hotel is only a few minutes walk to the main shopping and restaurant precinct along Neue Fahrt. The room is comfortable but the bathroom fittings need updating from apparently its 1980’s vintage. There is no air conditioning so in summer opening the window of the balcony (that looks out onto a small parking lot) should help. Hotel...
