"The elevator was scary. It makes grinding noises when coming to a stop. When I reported this no one got back to me. We took the stairs twice the noise was so obvious and we are in our seventies. On another note; when we couldn't find a medication on checkout day, I called the front desk suspecting someone may have entered our room when we were gone all day, asking for security. I got a recording. We found the medications after leaving a message to see security. We were treated with rude hostility by the desk woman who claimed to be the only "Security" and how offended she was that we would accuse her staff of entering our room. We did not accuse anyone; only requested speaking with security. I apologized for the misunderstanding which was met with indignant acceptance. I am a retired Police Officer and am used to being treated rudely so no big deal I guess. Kind of put a damper on the whole trip though. The elevator needs to be attended. It sounds dangerous."

"It was an incredible weekend getaway. I highly recommend bringing your own food there’s not much to eat around town and some things close early and it’s just easier with the kitchen provided they provide everything a kitchen may need including a fridge books and cards. There is no tv so I do recommend bringing an iPad or laptop for movies and pre download them the WiFi is a little shaky if it rains. The property was a bit tricky to find, but once we arrived, everything was perfect. The communication was excellent; they guided us to the cabin upon our arrival. While a truck might not be necessary unless you’re feeling adventurous, it’s advisable to rent one if you’re planning to visit Suches, as it’s located in the mountains. The cabin offers a serene and relaxing atmosphere, with breathtaking views of the surrounding nature. The solitude we experienced was refreshing. Additionally, the cabin features a beautiful walking trail that enhances the overall experience. It’s perfect for couples and for those seeking a peaceful getaway."

"When The Hotel full the Gravel lot is not watched by employees. I had to park on the landscaping because there was no place to park. Spaces in gravel need to be mark so people don't park with 3 feet between cars. Other then that it was a great place to stay."
The Villas at Coosawattee River Resort

"Peaceful and beautiful area, we enjoyed the river view from the porch! We had a visitor to our trash can one evening :-( Mountain road was very narrow and takes 15 minutes to get in/out the resort each trip, that was not our favorite parts of the stay. Overall we had a great time there."

"Fine property for a budget stay to save money to afford a resort property. Breakfast was a pleasant surprise more than expected. Staff was extremely helpful in dealing with the quirks of an older property designed in the the it's. Very satisfied"
