"Room Rate Vs. Guest Club Charges Explained.
We were very concerned to read that this hotel applied additional charges when checking in. Several Trip Advisor reviews confirmed that an additional per night Guest Club charge was applied over and above advertised room rate charges together with another charge should you require additional services. HOWEVER, if you booked through a third party booking site the advertised rates are ALL INCLUSIVE and no extra charges are applied. This is not entirely clear so dependent and how and with whom you booked with.
There were some negative issues but I'll try to summarise the plus and minus bits to help you.
1. WHAT IS INCLUDED
There were no additional charges over and above what we expected to pay as confirmed in our booking email. We received vouchers for breakfast for each day of our stay / 2 free drinks per day from the bar and a discount per day on any meals ordered from the hotel restaurant together with 2 x bottles of water per guest per day.
2. ROOM
Very basic & somewhat austere but functional (not as shown in some of the pictures). Good bits are a separate lobby room next to the bedroom with 2 TV's (1+1). The Queen sized beds are a touch too small for a really comfortable night sleep.
3. BREAKFAST BUFFET
Absolutely 1st class with a wide choice available and eat as much as you like.
