"Definite "win" on our Route 66 road trip.
Atmosphere, location, convenience and helpful staff at check in. We stayed in the hotel, versus the motel - although both looked adorable and have access to the incredible lobby, restaurant and gift shops.
We were in the Rita Hayworth room - the themes are fun. We found the book in the lobby library which accessed the secret room. And particularly enjoyed the original elevator.
You won't regret this stay."
"Front desk lady was helpful and responsive. Bathroom floor and plumbing was in need of maintenance, but the beds were clean and comfortable. The noise of trains passing nearby didn’t bother me, but guests should be aware of this if they are light sleepers. The motel sits right on Route 66, so request a room further away from the road if traffic noise bothers you."
"A rainstorm had just knocked out the power, so I had almost cancelled my room, but the power was restored just as I started to give the other hotel my CC info. During the whole time, the front desk staff were accommodating and trying to help as much as possible which helped me to decide to keep my reservation. The breakfast was good also and a 12 pm check out time allowed me to get a couple of virtual calls done in the room."
