Underwater tide pool photography! A sea cucumber! We stayed in Guiones, within a few minutes walk to the beach. With our rental car, we were close to several beaches, each with their own distinct character. Playa Pelada had morning cool tide pools to explore. #BeachBound

My favorite beach town in Costa Rica. Remote but not to remote. An asphalt road leads entirely to this town and it can be reached with a regular rental car. Samara has a bunch of small hostels and hotels, nice restaurants at the beach and all over the small town.
