A bit of a drive from the airport. Reception area and staff were amazing. Grounds are beautiful and well kept. Rooms are very clean and spacious, only tea no coffee in rooms. Beach area was nice with beautiful sunsets. Bought items from ‘locals’ on the beach. Booked a massage and to our surprise, the local vendors were also our masseuses. The restaurant staff could use a bit more training, English was a challenge so my husband had a hard time getting guaranteed gluten free items. Service was also very slow at best.

The AC didn't work, they knew it and just pretended to check it out. They end up giving me a fan which was ok because it wasn't that hot. The place is clean and some of the service staff are very good. Wish the bar had snacks while it's open and not only during specific hours. They have many people behind the bar but no one cares to go to the beach area to offer food & drinks. It's probably one of the best hotels in Nosy Be but still needs a lot of improvement. Also at check out I paid with credit card but some items had to be paid with cash, no specific reason explained.

This was my first visit to the island resort. They were very welcoming from the start. Even though I didn’t speak the local language, they were very pleasant and polite. The accommodations were very nice and private. The food menu had many choices and appealed particularly to the French and Italian people. They only suggestion I would give is to have another menu to rotate into the mix. The beach was beautiful and very accessible to the hotel guests. The walk to the beach is super close. There was always a tuk-tuk driver available to take us to town and they were always friendly and accommodating. I do recommend this hotel but be prepared for the many short “normal” power outages that occur daily.

Upside: clean room! However, the overall service is average for the price you pay. Basically you paying european money for services that are a quarter of the price anywhere else in Madagascar. Breakfast is expensive and you get served barely anything. I got sick from their mango juice. Do not hire their taxi service because it is well overprice. We orgaised the taxi ourselves and spent about 30 percent of what the hotel wanted to charge. You can get better and cheaper hotels in Madagascar,

Prachtige locatie met lekker eten en drinken.

Prachtig hotel, groots, mooie tuin tussen de verschillende gebouwen. Ligt letterlijk aan de zee, strand is zo goed als privé. Eten zn cocktails zijn superlekker. Communicatie met personeel verliep wat stroever, ontbijt was niet doorgegeven, kluis blokkeerde en was 12u wachten vooraleer de reservesleutel kon gehaald worden, vertrek en info naar uitstapjes was wat vaag.

Muy bueno y pueden mejorar servicios

Estuvimos 6 días en el hotel. Casi todo el personal es muy amable excepto una persona de recepción, con la que tuvimos varias “confusiones” con el precio tuk tuk y la cual indicamos que queríamos media pension e hizo caso omiso, teniendo que volver otra vez a recepción y pasar incomodidad. Es un hotel muy comodo y bonito, aunque faltaría que parte de las 5 personas que estan en la barra viniesen a la playa o piscina para saber si quieres tomar algo. El personal del restaurante es muy amable. Sí que recomendamos que se abran las botellas por ustedes mismos puesto que un día nos pusieron agua en mal estado, la tuvimos que devolver. Si volviesemos a Nosy be, sin duda volveriamos al hotel, fantastica puesta de sol. Por ciero, la agencia de viajes que esta dentro, un 10

Das Personal war recht freundlich und bemüht. Die Auswahl beim Frühstück ist etwas monoton und verbesserungswürdig. Während unseres 11-tägigen Aufenthaltes im Hotel gab es tagsüber jeden Tag (außer Sonntag) immer wieder Baulärm. Was besonders störend war, wenn man in der Lounge vom Barbereich ein Gespräch führen wollte oder sich auf den Strandliegen entspannen wollte und dann permnent in regelmäßigen, kurzen Abständen das ätzende Geräusch einer Flex anhören musste. Als von unserer Seite aus um Ruhe gebeten wurde, kam die Antwort: Wir können ja in unser Zimmer gehen um den Lärm nicht mehr zu hören. Am Strand gab es Sandfliegen die uns sehr juckende Schwellungen verpassten. Die Reception hat uns mit geeigneten Medikamenten ausgeholfen.

Passamos uma semana muito gostosa neste hotel. Os blocos de quartos ficam espalhadas num lindo jardim - muito bem cuidado com uma enorme variedade de plantas. A praia defronte ao hotel, é bem tranquila, entretanto não é das mais bonitas.. a água não é transparente como a das ilhas que visitamos. O bloco do nosso quarto ficava longe da praia, em compensação havia uma pequena piscina praticamente desconhecida pelos demais hóspedes. A piscina próxima à praia super gostosa… geralmente ficávamos lá ao retornar dos passeios. A agência de viagens que fica dentro do hotel auxilia muito nos passeios. Fizemos massagem no Spa e foi muito bom!!! Ponto negativo: o hotel é longe de qualquer comercio e/ou restaurante…

First time to Nosy-Be

The facilities overall were nice and the landscaping was beautiful. The bathroom was odd in that I had to stand in a raised tub to take a shower and the shower head was at chest level (I am 6' tall). My biggest concern was the lack of communication from the hotel. I could not find an email address and was not able to understand staff when I called. The island is very interesting, but I wish I would have known that police expect bribes to leave the airport and to use the roads...

Hotel molto bello

Hotel molto bello e ben curato, situato su una bella spiaggia di sabbia fine, un bellissimo giardino ma sopratutto un ristorante al Top, lo chef è incredibile, in tutti i piatti abbiamo assaporato il vero gusto del Madagascar, sopratutto nella grigliata di crostacei. La proprietaria Elma è una persona squisita ed attentissima ad ogni particolare, tutto è per far sentire l'ospite coccolato e viziato.

A parte il servizio eccellente dei ragazzi al ristorante e il cibo a pranzo e cena, tutto il resto pessimo! Accoglienza in hotel, attività d'hotel (inesistenti), mare, pulizia della camera, disinfestazione delle camere giornaliera, cordialità della restante parte del personale, compresa la direzione, colazione, a mio avviso pessimo! Très beau complexe et personnel très attentionné

Notre séjour au Nosy be hotel nous a vraiment permis de se reposer et faire de belles activités dans les îles et en quad. Le premier matelas au Madagascar vraiment confortable. Le personnel sur tout le complexe était très serviable et nous ont gatés durant le séjour. Faites attention au mauvais commentaires, ce sont des gens qui doivent comparer avec d'autres complexe hôteliers hors madagascar. Les employés font un effort pour rendre la piscine baignable, mais il y a tellement de vent en après-midi qu'elle se remplit de feuilles très rapidement. very nice resort and artistically decorated

We enjoyed our stay at boutique hotel very much. It is quite a big resort with all the buildings, restaurant and other amenities made out of African wood. A lot of carvings and decorations in African style -makes you feel that you are in Madagascar. The food was delicious.The Lady - the owner and manager was extremely helpful and nice. We could learn a lot from her about Madagascar and Nosy Be, because she could speak very good English. It was much more difficult to communicate with the stuff if you did not know French. The rooms were spacious and comfortable and very tastefully decorated-with big attention to details. We hope to come back here again!
