8.4/10 Very Good! (30 reviews)
I thoroughly enjoyed the traditional feel of the suite, the bathroom was my favorite part. Access to a balcony was welcomed, the beds were comfy, and the room was quite spacious. The location is very close to the Awa Odori festival, shrines, and restaurants. The hostess spoke very good English and was a very sweet woman. The price was only expensive because I had booked explicitly for the Awa Odori, but that is to be expected for such a grand festival and being so close.

10/10 Exceptional! (1 review)

9.2/10 Wonderful! (90 reviews)
Hotel with a great view over Tokushima city. Property is tidy but looking a little old and tired. Onsen (hot pool) is nice. Restaurant is buffet style and OK without being amazing. You need to own/rent a car if you stay here because it is difficult to reach from Tokushima (there is a shuttle bus once a day, and a ropeway).

"The Japanese people that stayed in this hotel were rude. Wouldn’t share and elevator or sit by us during breakfast. Even closed elevator on us so we couldn’t get on. And can’t use onsen because of tattoos. So if a white person with tattoos… please move on. And had to buy ice. Rooms were clean and ..."
