Dear Sir /Madam
First and foremostly, we do not advertise "The Firs " as a cottage. Your misunderstanding is much regretted. We wish to reiterate , for future references , that we are a 5 roomed boutique hotel located in Nuwara Eliya.
We have not mentioned family rooms or interconnected rooms in our hotel. Our maximum occupancy are 3 packs per room.
While apologizing for the inconvenience , we trust you would understand that this was a miss communication by the web site.
Thank you for your understanding
Fantastic hotel that is much better in the flesh than in the photos. Staff were super helpful and attentive and the food was fantastic as well. Loved every inch of our stay and you can go on a lovely walk to the lake thats nearby. Great history to the hotel and very comfortable and large rooms. Thank you very much for a great stay
Hotel was good. Small boutique kind of hotel near the lake. But the room heating facilities were poor and we suffered from the cold temperatures in the night. When asked if the heating can be increased, the hotel staff said that that is how the heating is. So we had to sleep in the uncomfortably cold temperatures.
Nice place a bit outside of the town in a very quiet neighbourhood.
We had a very nice night playing pool with the staff. Good breakfast and a nice room in an old colonial style building. Overall a bit run down though.
