"Breakfast made was convenient. The pool was tiny. All staff seemed very friendly and helpful. A little confusion on the “$5 per night food credit” ended in charges I wasn’t expecting as it was explained a little Misleading. However it wasn’t a huge charge. They had beach chairs, toys, and boogie boards to borrow which was great for us."

"The room was gorgeous! Bravo for the elevated and tasteful decor. The exterior does need a little facelift here and there as it is an older hotel, but there is a "classic," old Hawaii charm about it. Bell Attendant was a bit pushy when we did not let him take our bags before check in - asking repeatedly - when guaranteed check in was only 30min out. Other than that, the staff at the Veranda was so nice and cheerful and dinner at Arancino was amazing. This is a great option to stay outside of Waikiki."
