New River Gorge NP start point
"Easy to find, right off of the highway but not noisy. Stayed here because I was starting in the south side of New River Gorge National Park the next day. Gas station is across the street. Hotel seemed very busy but never noticed noise related to that."

Oct 14, 2019Oak Hill is a beautiful area that is convenient to the New River Gorge and Beckley. Expedia should do a better job of reviewing and endorsing properties.

Jul 22, 2019I have spent most of my life traveling to the area. I wouldn't spend too much time in Oak Hill. The Holiday Lodge, where we stayed is in a nice part of the area. I would spend most of my time in Fayetteville or Beckly for great shopping.
