It was definitely not like the pictures the hotel was dirty and the had homeless people lounging in the lobby and throughout the property. And the fire alarm kept being pulled by people that wasn’t staying at the hotel. I we keep getting woke up out of our sleep and evacuating.

Love the property—staff most helpful—beach view from the penthouse phenomenal—

First, I would like to say the staff was friendly and accommodating to me (I can't speak for anyone else.). Cindy was amazing at the front desk. Domingo the grounds staff was helpful and there were a few others I am forgetting. Overall, friendly and helpful staff. Comfortable rooms and bed. Elevator is just too slow for my liking. I enjoyed using the stairs, good cardio, too. Housekeeping did their job well, no complaints. There's no pool, which is a bummer. I was expecting a different layout for the breakfast - I was expecting way better variety and setup. Apparently, the hotel's restaurant was under construction. I walked to Erewhon (corner of Harvard and Wilshire), to get a better and healthier breakfast options some days. Transit was accessible to Third Street Promenade and the Pier. You can literally take the B4 or B1 bus. Overall, good stay.
