This is an excellent place to stay when visiting Oberammergau. The rooms are spacious, the breakfast excellent and the staff are very welcoming and helpful. We stayed here in 2023 and again this past July in 2025. The hotel is conveniently located in Oberammergau and is an easy walk to restaurants and shopping. If we ever return to Oberammergau we would definitely stay here again.

Stayed for a few nights to relax after a trip to Munich. Hotel is in a very nice location with views of the German alps all around. Easily walkable to the main portion of town with numerous shops, bars, and restaurants. The hotel staff was great, very friendly and helpful. The breakfast area was clean and well stocked and the lady working the breakfast area would offer to make eggs for us in the mornings. There is a washer and dryer on site if you have to do some laundry. Overall a great place to stay.

This is an amazing hotel! The staff are very friendly and knowledgeable about the good places to visit in the surrounding area. We were given free bus passes so we could go to visit numerous tourist sites without having to use the rental car. The breakfast at the hotel had lots of variety and we enjoyed eating there. The rooms were spacious and clean and we had a lovely view of the church across the street. We will definitely return to this hotel if we ever have the opportunity to stay in Oberammergau sometime in the future.

What a great place!

This is a great property that is well worth the price. The family that runs it are wonderful. We had a wonderful room with a balcony. It is very up to date. There is even a reasonable cost to use the laundry. Breakfast was outstanding with numerous selections.

Perfect place to stay for skiing holiday

Ideally situated to take part König ludvig Lauf. Room where nice and big enough. Balcony was nice and good place to keep skis. Everything was near and in walking distance.

The hotel is located just next to the local church bell tower. Impossible to sleep beyond 0600 (especially in the weekends). I had to remind the staff to clean the room and I was replied that I should have placed the tag outside the door. Unfortunately the tag was missing. Wii-Fii strength absolutely insufficient therefore I had to use personal band just to make video calls. Finally and foremost I didn’t feel welcomed. Not recommended!

Fantastisk ferielejlighed

Vi lejede en ferielejlighed, med to værelser, eget bad og eget køkken. Ydermere var der altan med udsigt til Kofel. Receptionisten var flink og imødekommende, og meget hjælpsom. Værelset er pænt, rent og utrolig indbydende. Begge værelser har et tv og udgang til samme altan. Altanen er fint møbleret, ligesom lejligheden også har en spisekrog i det ene værelse, med plads til minimum 4 personer. Køkkenet er en anelse småt, men er tilgengæld fuldt udstyret til en familieferie og vi tilberedte indtil flere aftensmåltider her. Gennemført fantastisk oplevelse og vi kommer helt sikkert igen

Wir waren für zwei Tage im Hotel „Zum Turm“ und es hat uns sehr gut gefallen. Wir hatten ein tolles großes Zimmer mit Balkon. Die Zimmer wurden 2020 renoviert und sind hell und freundlich. Die Lage ist großartig und alles leicht zu Fuß zu erreichen. Das Frühstück war super und sehr lecker. Wir kommen wieder!
