A gem in the mountains

High quality of everything. The building is unassuming from the outside but modern and clean inside - adapted to local style with stone and wood. Excellent service. Everybody was very friendly and helpful. Very good food. Breakfast selection somewhat limited but with a huge choice of fresh local bread and all kinds of jams and spreads. Plenty pf parking space. Not much traffic in the night, so very quiet despite location right on the road.

Been here regularly for the last few years and love the location and the hotel, prices have gone up since first visit but didn’t mind as the hotel is fantastic. This time however the food was a real disappointment. Having thoroughly enjoyed the food there in the past this was a real shame as you don’t have many options nearby either. I would have given feedback at the property but was not asked. I think I’ll book elsewhere in the future sadly.

Fantastic location and experience

We originally wanted to the top of the pass. The hotel is clean and modern inside and the staff super friendly and helpful. We would recommend this to anyone and will definitely stay here again if we ar in the area.
