"We were in the Guesthouse which is the 'budget' rooms of The Hey Hotel. Room was clean, beds comfy, excellent breakfast. View from both our rooms was out onto the roof terrace of the next door building about a metre away.
The rooms would benefit from a voile curtain for privacy without drawing curtains. This didn't really spoil our 2 night stay as we were only in the room to sleep.
Easy access to Ost station, No 21 bus. And walkable to West Station."
"Staff is really helpful and amazing. The breakfast is good too although I wish there were a bit more variations. The muesli is really good gave me the right carb load before hikes. The elevator stopped working due to a flooding and wasn’t repaired during the duration of our stay. But the staff helped us with the luggage.
Train station is really close by and the bar and grill is very good too.
Few things that can be improved — room could be given more light. Additionally a longer mirror is really needed."
"We arrived early, before check in time, and the receptionist accommodated us and checked us in so early:). The next day we went out for a day trip and the cleaning staff probably noticed my 50th bday decoration, so when we arrived I have a birthday cup cake 🎂 and a birthday card for my birthday. Such a heartwarming gestures. Would love to comeback."
"Clean room, comfortable beds, spacious room for 4 adults, AC worked well for a European hotel during an extreme heat wave. Breakfast had a good variety. Free bus pass provided which was helpful!"
"Older hotel that has not been renovated but was clean and the beds were comfy (most important!). Decent amount of space in the room. Disappointed that the AC was not working during a heat wave. The pool looked really nice. Overalll a nice stay and happy breakfast was included. I understand it is high season but not what I would call worth $400/night."
"Location is convenient and staff are friendly / helpful.
The negatives are lack of air conditioning during the summer. Tough during the heatwave.
Also, we had to wait 2.5 hours for check in when we arrived as they weren’t able to finish cleaning until almost 7 pm."
