"The room need a renovation but it was clean. The service is ok. Much better at their restaurant. The check in is very bad organised and the staff is unfriendly. We arrived after a 8hour car drive with kids, they did not even offer a glass of water and there is no check in point or space really. There was some misunderstanding by their side on the payment upon check out, it took us 30 minutes to solve. Honestly, I was quite disappointed by their unfriendliness overall. "Modern, lovely and family friendly hotel Right across from main station Most places are within walking distance Free coffee and water whole day long in lobby is a nice touch (especially in the cold winter season) Check in and check out was very quick and staff were all very friendly and welcoming Elevators were very new and fast Room was as advertised, spacious and new 2 bathrooms with 1 toilet was clean and modern. Water pressure was good A fridge in room might have been more helpful Beds were very comfortable Sofa bed however needs a mattress change perhaps.. sunken in already 2 TVs (one in bedroom and one in hall) Good selection of English channels Breakfast was the best we have had in Europe Fantastic variety and great food Will definitely stay there if visiting St Gallen again "
