Was not the room I booked online. The TV was an issue. Had it changed out on Thursday evening for the Eagles game. Also the door was an issue. Had to kind of slam a bit to get it to close. The shower was actually not that strong/powerful. Was in room 302.

We found hair in our bed and on bathroom floor. On the day we did not have our do not disturb sign on door, they just put towels on our unmade bed. Pool area didn’t look like it was maintained very well. Despite these issues we had a great time. The location was great. I may have read it wrong but I thought we would definitely have free parking on site and we didn’t.

I would like a refund, they showed a stove in our room when we booked it and we brought all kinds of food to cook, but there was no pots or pans or utensils and most of our food went bad so I would like a refund

Terrible Experience – Never Again This was one of the worst hotel stays I’ve ever had. The refrigerator was so loud it kept me up all night. The hotel advertised a “side ocean view,” but there was absolutely no ocean view at all — completely misleading. Parking was a nightmare. There was nowhere to load or unload luggage, and the actual parking was several streets away. Totally unacceptable. On top of all that, the room was tiny and ridiculously overpriced given all these issues. I left feeling frustrated and cheated. I will never stay here again, and I strongly advise others to avoid this place.

Overall the stay was great for our three night nights,I would definitely recommend staying here.however,an upgrade to the elevator should be mandatory because it is extremely slow.but other than than those minor factors,I would definitely recommend the Monte Carlo as an amazing place to stay.

The property is in a good location but the downfall is that they don’t have parking close to the hotel. If you can’t find parking along the side of the hotel you have to go across the street then walk over to the hotel. The indoor pool was nice along with the hot tub. The room that we stayed in the door kept getting stuck so it would scrap the metal to the floor and make a loud noise. I requested to change rooms but was never able to change the room. I was told that the manager on duty was going to contact me the next day but never received a call so I went to the front desk to ask about a room reassignment and they told me they are fully booked after I was told I would be switching rooms. I would stay again because of the location and the surrounding area. Just needs a little bit of improvement.

The Wi-Fi don’t work the elevator take forever to come, and it’s only one elevator when I got to my room. There was a big convenience machine right in front of it. When we went to the pool there was no towels all the side doors. The safety locks didn’t work. It felt very unsafe.

Great location, relatively clean, dusty but not dirty. The absolute worst thing about my stay, the bed. WOW that worst bed I have ever slept in, in my life. Springs nearly protruding from the mattress on the top and sides, lumpy, just terrible!!! Like it fell off of the back of a truck on the highway on the way to the dump and they found 2 of them and put them in my room! Please for the love of all that is holy replace the mattresses! It’s the mattress from an hourly rate motel, seriously. It’s time to replace them!

Not clean room smells and carpet needed shampooing room smelled. Room service no one came. We had to ask to get fresh towels, no garbage picked up, air conditioner smelled like mold, room needed upgrade and a fresh coat of paint, no balcony lights we called and no one came to fix. no hot water, need more than 1 elevator we waited forever. Pool didn’t look clean. The only thing I liked was the balcony view. Other than that nothing else. They said free parking but it’s not on the premises. You had to walk to get to where car was located.

The property itself was really nice and a great location with it being on the boardwalk. The indoor pool was great for my kids when they were not interested in being in the sun or if it was raining. It was not big but they enjoyed playing with other kids in there as well. The coffee/crepe shop downstairs was delicious as well and super convenient. The rooms were great and for our son that is allergic to an extreme amount of things, having the stove top, sink, and full fridge was awesome. Bring your own dish soap, scrubber, pots, pans, knives, silverware, plates/bowls, cooking utensils, cutting board. Our only issue with the place was the cleaning service which was the one reason we chose a hotel over an Airbnb or Verbo. They did not make the beds and just put towels on the bed each day (fresh towels was a nice thing) and never once cleaned the bathroom. With it being right on the beach there was plenty of sand brought back in kids bathing suits no matter how hard we tried and there were a couple times we requested the vacuum so we could vacuum it all ourselves. I've never stayed in a hotel, even one for under a hundred a night that did not clean your room. Other than than, everything was truly great.

This was the perfect location on the boardwalk. Close to all the fun parts of the boardwalk. Friendly staff as we walked in. Room was spacious and the balcony gave a wonderful view of the ocean.

Overall, the Monte Carlo Boardwalk Hotel opens up Ocean City to its guests. It is right on the boardwalk, with a wide sandy beach out the front door. Plus, it has two good restaurants embedded in the property. It is a modern, sparkling hotel. We had a room with a balcony facing to the west. We were surprised that there was so much early morning noise because of the garbage pickup. There was also a real fire alarm as we were about to check out. Evidently, there was a contained electrical fire. The desk managers gave us an additional hour to check out which was appreciated.

Parking is an issue, it's hard to find and the lots reserved for guests are always full. There is nothing to cook with in the room kitchen, you have a convenient kitchen area however you can't use it unless you bring your own pans and spatula, utensils, plates, bowls, etc. The room could have been cleaned better, I found a previous guest's makeup on the floor by the bed, along with some dropped potato chips. The location is great, steps from the beach with a great balcony.
