"The staff was very friendly and helpful. The owners were fantastic and most gracious.. My glutten free restrictions were ignored, until the owner intervened. She was most kind. Victorian tea house had plenty of extra fee activities. Piano and songs mystery dinners, snd local events. Parking is limited. Our room had a broken towel rack and the best thing that could be said of the shower is it had hot water .There is no elevator so be prepared to carry suitcase up wood steps. The grounds had outdoor furniture and firepit that were more salvation army than Victorian motif. The supplied beach chairs were piled up outside also. The breakfast was a cold scone,, sausage, a small dish of fruit and warm OJ. My small cold (naybe) pancake was served the 2nd day on a paper dolly on a wooden tray - the maple syrup and paper mixture didn't enhsnce its flavor. Coffee and tea were served if requested. Oh if you don't want breakfast there is a $50 charge unless canceled in advance."

"Despite the negative reviews of this place I must admit the room I had (105) was quite good,. It was clean, there was plenty of hot water and water pressure in the shower. Shampoo conditioner and soap were provided, The towels and sheets were clean, no hairs or stains,. The shower , was a little scratched on the floor of the bathtub probably because of all the sand, but clean. I am taking 1 star off for 2 reasons, 1) They need blinds on the window because the Persian blinds let in the hallway light and the stairs were next to it and I felt it didn't provide enough privacy, 2) The bed , while very comfortable and clean creaked a lot from the springs. The location is excellent , only 1 block from Midway Steaks / Spicy Cantina on the boardwalk. The parking , while tight was manageable. But we had a pleasant stay and I would stay here again."
