"Loved the proximity to the beach. Room was ok, had a few issues and changed rooms. The upgrade we received was very modest to say the least. The pool water was ice cold, but the ocean temps were AMAZING! The staff was helpful and friendly. Henry is the BEST! "

"We loved our stay here, wonderful staff, gorgeous rooms and property, great neighborhood five minute walk from a perfect beach with chairs and a beach umbrella included. Expedia doesn’t note the resort fee when booking but it was a minimal amount. The hotel itself is super chill and pristine. Madison Felix is a very special place and we really hope to be back. "

"We paid for an ocean view room in sorento and got placed infront of a brick wall. So they moved us, to less of a room in the main tower but it had ocean view so I let it be. No fridge in the room anymore, and the soap smells god awful. Then, parking and valet only was $76 a day. Nowhere did it say that when we booked. The actual valet service was really friendly, so that was a plus. There was a nice resistant selection. The pool was nice, but every chair was taken pretty much 24/7 and the pool was closed by 6/6:30. There was also no convenience store. My husband was having a weird allergic reaction after getting in the hot tub, which was gross in itself, then had no convenience store to buy any Benadryl or anything. No store for sunscreen, razors, medication, nothing. We tried to go to the beach one day also and the beach was disgusting. They don’t rake so it smelled awful with layers of seaweed and ocean remnants everywhere. Overall, will probably never come back here again. Way too overpriced for what you actually get. "

"The hall ways and staircases and other parts need updating. Location is cool. You cannot open a window in the room…weired. Nice coffee at the roof top."

"Lack of communication. Never received new towels, after reaching out multiple times. Couldn’t get checked in at all, had to wait in the lobby for three hours. "

"Receptionist was friendly and informative. Disappointed that our apartment was located in another block about 10mins walk away which didn’t have a pool as advertised. This also meant we were not close to shops. Beach is close by and lovely. Room was clean but with limited crockery. Bedding was interesting as not the usual duvet cover over the quilt but flat sheets over the duvet instead. Our TV in the living area did not work. I reported this several times but no one attended to this issue. We therefore had to use only the bedroom TV. Nice quiet block with good security door. Awaiting my deposit back still. "
