"First impressions were very good but when we got to our room it was obviously a disabled room as the sink only came up to my knees and there was a stool for the shower. The curtains were too short for the window and the bedside table had fablon on that was all peeling off and my friend had yellow stains on her bed sheet and a publc hair. We went out for a walk and on the same side of our Hotel was an Immigration Hotel with wire fencing around it and big red signs saying no entry. We would not stay here again Bournemouth is not the same place i used to stay for holidays sadly."

"I had a very relaxing stay. The hotel was well located, in a lovely neighbourhood and it was easy to get everywhere. Everyone was friendly and helpful, which made me feel at home. My room was great - comfortable, well fitted and spacious. I really enjoyed the dinner and breakfast choices in the restaurant, and also appreciated the attention the hotel gives to being sustainable. I would definitely stay again. "

"Room was clean and bed was comfortable. Location was great for the beach and BIC. Staff were friendly and helpful. Breakfast was cooked fresh and very nice. Would recommend due to it's location, cost and our overall experience."

"Perfect place for a central location to the beach town and bic, I never used any of the bars restaurants or anything els that’s on offer .. for me it is a very convenient place to stay when going to gigs at the bic. Parking is available onsite ( for a fee) so that’s a plus. Rooms are adequate very clean staff are very friendly and helpful.. will stay again when in town. "

"The hotel is located opposite the Bournemouth International Centre which is handy if you are going to a concert like us. Our room (306) very dated but clean. The TV was very small and the remote (filthy) didn’t work even though reception replaced the batteries. The bar was not open for us to use on the first night so we went to The Sun pub only 30 seconds away which was great. The bath in the bathroom was raised and although both of us are tall we still had a struggle stepping up into it. We then found ourselves with the shower head at only chest height. The mirror in the bathroom was also a chest height. The hairdryer must have been 20 yrs old. Sockets were hidden so we had to moved furniture to plug in phone chargers. Just a little bit of thought would sort all these issues."

"A very well used hotel not as special as I had expected. The air conditioning didn’t work in the room and no windows that open. The windows were not kept clean and hadn’t been for a long time which was very evident in the dining and reception area. The swimming pool was not clean be it the end of day when we went into the pool. There was a considerable amount of hair and fluff floating and the changing area was not kept clean. Floors were wet and clumps of hair in numerous places. Thus I didn’t return to the swimming area. Breakfasts were not good. Eggs were over cooked and bacon too hard to eat. Not enough variety."
