I recommend the hotel

A very good hotel and restaurant. Big room, clean, with good beds. Excellent dinner at their restaurant with good and nice service. The breakfast was very good, with a lot of things to enjoy (especially the Nutella machine that gave me exact the amount of Nutella I wanted!). Located in a small peaceful village. This day we got a free opera concert at the park by the river. The hotel and its restaurant give a lot of value for the money. I recommend is strongly and I will return.

Don’t stay here

This is the worst place I have stayed. And I travel a lot and am not picky. The receptionist/owner of the hotel was very rud. Absolutely no service at all.When we called her to get help she got so angry she hung up the phone. The room was on the second floor with a very steep stair and no elevator Only some of the windows had curtains so not only was it very noisy due to the trains but it was as also light
You know it’s noisy when the hotel hangs free earplugs in the hallway

Gegenüber der Zimmer zum Gässchen steht ein Haus mit teilweise unverputztem und schmutzigen Mauerwerk. Wir zogen dann nach 2 Nächten um in ein großes sehr schönes Zimmer, dies war allerdings wegen der Bahnhofsnähe und einem Verkehrsknotenpunkt sehr laut. Die Radgarage wurde leider nicht abgesperrt und hatte keine Befestigung zum Sichern der teuren Räder. Keine einzige Steckdose. Die Akkus mussten auf dem Zimmer geladen werden. Insgesamt stimmt das Preis Leistungsverhältnis nicht. Wegen der Betriebsferien war der sehr schöne Biergarten geschlossen.

Bei Check- In niemand da. Erst nach mehrmaligen Telefonaten Zimmerschlüssel über Box bekommen. Zimmer entsprach nicht der gebuchten Kategorie. Teppich völlig verfleckt, Bad schmutzig, Duschkopf defekt, Dichtungen beim Fenster hingen herunter. Kein Wlan auf dem ganzen zweiten Stock. Und das für 109 €!!!! Wir haben uns geweigert den Betrag zu bezahlen, nach längerer Diskussion auf 80€ geeinigt. Wir sind seit drei Wochen mit dem Rad unterwegs, das war das schlimmste was uns je geboten wurde.

Verlängertes Wochenende mit Weinprobe

Uns hat es ganz gut gefallen. Das Zimmer entsprach unseren Erwartungen, da wir nur zum Schlafen da waren. Wir hatten das Glück kein Zimmer Richtung Bahnhof zu haben, da der Güterverkehr auf der Schiene nachts laut war. Kleine Mankos gibt's aber doch. Die Auswahl an TV-Programmen ist nicht so groß wie man denkt, da für die ganzen angebotenen Sender eine Smartcard benötigt wird. Ein weiteres Manko ist die steile Treppe in den 2. Stock. Daran kann man aber nichts ändern, das ist dem Baujahr des Hotels geschuldet. Wir waren insgesamt zufrieden und würden wieder im Hotel übernachten, sollten wir wieder nach Ochsenfurt kommen.

Arrived at 6pm on a Sunday to find this "hotel" locked up and no-one around. Walking around we found a rear door also locked with a small notice with a phone number. Called that and were given a number to open key press to gain entry. Any guests who could not speak German would probably have been totally lost. While I would expect this from a budget chain hotel this is a town centre hotel charging town centre prices. We got then: No reception. No restaurant. No bar. After a long drive not what we were expecting. As the place was closed when we made our booking the previous day why were we not informed at that time instead of finding out when we arrived? Room was reasonable but a packet of Haribos on the pillow was definitely not any compensation.

Beautiful village with hotel at the city gate. Everything at walking distance. Could have used a lift to the second floor!! The restaurant was closed on tuesdays but luckily everything else was close by. Super breakfast!

Der Gasthof bietet preiswerte Zimmer in einer etwas unruhigen Lage am Rande der Innenstadt. Es gibt Parkplätze und eine Garage für Fahrräder und Motorräder. Das WLAN funktioniert grundsätzlich ganz gut, fällt aber manchmal aus.
