"This is a great place to stay and the setting I’d idyllic with the chalets among the trees. The restaurant meals we had were superb albeit a bit pricey. But it was worth it. "The place was busy due to the ski season and many seasonal workers stayed there, so night time could be quite noisy. There is also a kitchen on site offering simple buffet breakfast at a cheap price and other dining options for lunch/dinner. The staff members were very friendly and helpful; there were complimentary coffee and tea at the common area 24/7, a TV and a large lounge to chill at. The kitchen was quite packed but they have air fryers which could be very useful. The room we stayed in is central-heated. Close to National Park and Whakapapa, this place is good for a short stay."
