"I wanted to stay at an historic place and the Lafayette fit the bill. The property was nice and clean and in a great location. The rooftop seating was so nice to relax and watch the barges navigate the river. The free breakfast in the Gun Room was excellent and the bar had great food and good service. The only negative, and its not that big of a deal was the small bathroom. I would stay here again. "

The floor was pitched incorrectly sending water all across the floor making footing very hazardous. We mopped it up with leftover towels and went on. Our entire family was there for my son's wedding and every one was pleased with the accomidations. "
