I was out in the wild on a Safari 😍😍

While on safari in Ol Pejeta Conservancy in Kenya, we came across a large baboon family. Young baboons were swinging from tree branches, hiding in the bushes, and curiously observing us, while the parental baboons kept close watch. This photogenic baboon sat still and stared at us for the longest time with those piercing golden brown eyes. Before long, he too was off running and playing and dangling in the trees with his brothers and sisters and cousins. Our own little baboons (the safari kids) were soon hanging from the inside of the safari vehicle mimicking their acrobatic skills. It was a treat to watch them all playing and having fun.

The last hope for the Northern White Rhino species is IVF and a surrogate mother which is expensive and is not without risks. Giraffe at Sunset
It was the golden hour on our first night at Sweetwaters Tented Camp, located right in the Ol Pejeta Conservancy in Kenya. We came upon several graceful long necked creatures while on our evening safari drive. There is something magical about watching the giraffe at sunset with the intense colors of both the sunset and the oranges of the animal. Challenging to get good crisp photos at this time of night, we started playing with the light instead to get some funky shots. This one turned out to be a favorite.
