"The hotel was very welcoming to keep our luggage until the room was ready. We were able to walk to the university and the river within minutes; I can’t think of a better situated location. Upon getting the room, we were welcomed with bread and wine, a much unexpected delight. The room was very secure and nicer than the exterior would have expected!!! The room was a great space with a kitchenette and the staff went above and beyond in providing information, dining locations and what to experience while we were there. The provided breakfast was a mix of fruit, meat, cheese, breads and cereal, all which were great. If you have trouble with steps, ask for a ground floor room as there is no lift, but if you have trouble with steps, you’re probably not going to enjoy Portugal at all!!! LOL!!!"

"Incredibly attentive staff, and incredible attention to detail. Great breakfast, their restaurant was delicious, and being steps away from the college was a bonus for sightseeing. "

"Didn’t rent a car can’t comment on parking. Centrally located right across from the river and a short walk to the University. Great breakfast, loved the library themed room. Comfortable bed. Will return."

"This is a great hotel close to many great attractions and dining opportunities. Staff were very helpful and the rooftop bar was great. Be aware that parking is underground across from the property and you need a code to scan for the garage. That might be one improvement they could consider, sending the bar code by email so that you don't have to go to the hotel before parking. Other than that detail it was great all around."
