"My wife, my sister-n-law, my son and I stayed here the night before the 2026 Los Angeles Marathon. We picked this location because it was close to the marathon starting line and offered a shuttle from the hotel to the starting line for runners since there was no way to walk to Dodger Stadium. This hotel turned out to be perfect for the marathon. We stayed in room 1652 and even though we were a little early for our check-in our room was cleaned and ready for our arrival. The staff was very friendly and welcoming and made the check-in very smooth. There is FREE WiFi if you need it. The bed was super comfortable and the room was very spacious. No need to bring dongles because there were plenty of USB ports to plug our devices into. Parking was valet only for $59 a night or your could park in the garage next to the hotel for $8.99 per night. This hotel was very clean and has been unkept very well, but if you explored around at all you could see that back in the glory days this was the place. There were several spots for business, restaurants, that were just sitting empty. A sign of the changing times. If you are participating in the Los Angeles Marathon and do not want to deal with traffic and parking. I would stay here. My rating: BEST"

"Very attentive staff, right in the middle of everything we wanted to be around too! Grand central market being down the block is a huge plus. The staff was nice and attentive when needing my car from valet too. "

"The united stayed in was nothing like the image that was advertised. The kitchen did not have basic amenities found in rental homes like can openers and the stove still had plastic items in it. The keypad nvr worked properly. Our family had to be together in order to enter the unit since only I had access to the door. The a/c’s did not work well and the curtain above the bed was not placed properly so it fell on us in the middle of the night. The staff were kind but it seemed there wasn’t a good understanding of the issues in the unit. None of the rooms had working smoke alarms. There was only one in the entire unit that was plugged in."

"I had a great stay at the hotel and really enjoyed the amenities. The location is very convenient, making it easy to get to different areas of Los Angeles. As someone visiting from another country, I found it fairly easy to get around. However, it’s important to be cautious as the area around the hotel is not the safest, with a high number of homeless individuals nearby. I would not recommend walking, even in the morning. I mainly used the метро, which felt safe and was within walking distance from the hotel."
