Nice place run by a kind and helpful couple. Close to the centre of town, but quiet.
It’s not possible to drive up to the hotel by car, but it’s just a short walk.
Nice view of ruins and mountains from the window.
We really enjoyed our stay. Natalia took good care of us and we were able to communicate well despite our limited Spanish. There was good wifi, lots of blankets, a nice view of the street and the ruins from the balcony and the breakfast was delicious. We would not hesitate to stay here again.
We had a wonderful experience staying here for 4 nights in the room with a balcony. The staff was quick to accommodate to any needs. Very friendly and helpful! Wonderful breakfast was served each morning, especially enjoyed the fresh squeezed orange juice! Overall it has a very quaint and homey feeling!
Great place to rest and explore a charming little town on the way to MP.

Hospitable owners but basic setup
The owners were helpful and hospitable. The room however was small and so was the bathroom. Anybody over 5’ 10” will struggle to use the toilet because the distance between it and the opposite wall is really small. The geyser supports atmost a 1.5 min shower. It is close enough to the town center (~250 steps)
It’s not too inconvenient for a short stop but I’d pick a place with a nicer shower next time.
Host doesn’t live there. No way of contacting host without local phone. Luckily enough to meet a person staying there, able to open the door. Nothing was ready such as towels, etc. Good view to the ruins.
Definitivamente no me volvería a hospedar aquí.
This is a rustic, but clean and comfortable B&B run by a very sweet young family. Nice basic breakfast each morning, and they even packed us a "to-go" breakfast on the morning we had to catch an early train to get to Machu Picchu. We stayed in the balcony room, which had an amazing view of the Ollantaytambo ruins. The location is an easy walk to the town center, but it is far enough away that it is quiet. It can get chilly (we were there end of May) but there are plenty of warm blankets on the bed and a space heater in the room. We had a great stay!
Lovely welcoming family owners that provided a lot of information about sites and the local culture. Wonderful breakfast. My room had an amazing view of the Ollantaytambo Inca site.
Casa Patacalle was a warm, lovely place to stay during our two nights in Ollantaytambo. The room was clean and had a private bath made entirely of stone. Water was warm after a short delay. We had access to a lovely garden with hammocks and the kitchen (though we didn’t use the kitchen). The best part was the warm and welcoming host family who had breakfast ready for us, even a brown bag one when we caught an early train.
A very cute room and amazing view of the surrounding mountains, run by two lovely and helpful guys. It even had a heater as it does get cold at night. My only complaint was the hot water usually wasn't hot, but it is Peru! Highly recommended.
We stayed there for two nights because its reasonable deal, good reviews and decorations
Pros:
-Supper helpful and nice and owner
-Good views of Ollantaytambo
-Breakfast was OK (but don't expect avocado)
Cons:
-Very small family house, only three rooms, only two rooms with mountain view.
-We arrived at 7:30pm, nobody there, we had to wait half an hour... Was it our fault not calling in advanced?
-The floor, wall of the room was very worn and old regardless its "fancy decro", few spiders and fries were on the wall.
-The bath room is too rustic and looked dirty although it could be clean. No disposal cup for teeth brushing
-The shower was warm close to cold, the heater was not warm enough. Owner already tried his best, yet very disappointed.
-The bed sheet/blanket were worn and had black fibers on top.
-The outlets were loose
-The dogs frequently barked at night and early morning
-If you have luggage with rolling wheel, be prepare you need some muscles to carry them all the way to the lower flat level as the taxi can't enter there.
-Not close the plaza de armas where all restaurants locate.
I understand that I can't expect too much for US$39 a night. We made not so good decision by looking at the fancy pictures and reviews. I would choose other place if I had choice.

Excelente la vista hacia la montaña
El personal muy atento. Solo el detalle del drenaje en una de las habitaciones. Muy buen precio.
Located about a 5 minute walk from the main plaza in Ollantaytambo, Hostal Casa Patacalle is a small little hotel (they have 3 rooms total) with extremely friendly and accommodating staff. Upon arrival, Victor greeted us with a warm smile and proceeded to check us in, which took no longer than 5 minutes. The rooms are rustic and a bit small, but very nicely decorated and the views of the mountains are amazing. The thing I loved the most about this hotel was breakfast. Victor himself bought fresh ingredients every morning and cooked our breakfast, which included eggs (any way you want them), cereal, yogurt, coffee, tea, bread, cheese, avocado, and hot chocolate, among other things. My wife and I loved the service and we loved the room. Will definitely stay there if we visit again!
It was an amazing stay indeed! From the breakfast that had freshly brewed coffee, hot chocolate, and scrambled eggs, to the extra features like the portable heater in the room, to the touches of decoration using local corn and textiles, to the relaxing upstairs patio with view to the ruins of Pinkuylluna. A thermos with hot water and a unique selection of teas including mate de coca and muña were available in the lobby at all times. They were also very helpful in helping you answer any questions about where to buy food, what route to take up to the ruins, etc. Everything was nicely maintained and cleaned, a must if you are staying in Ollantaytambo!
A cosy bed & breakfast stay with balcony overlooking the ruins of Ollaytantambo. The staff service was absolutely brilliant, he attended to all our requests honestly and diligently. The property also have a beautiful inner garden for you to relax and wind down. Location is near to where all the action is. Breakfast is pretty good for the price. Apart from the not-so-warm shower, we can't fault anything about this place.
