Omaha, Nebraska hotel rooms at the Independent

"There was no hot water. Room was never cleaned. Never got clean towels. Wa told to take my towels to front desk in order to get clean ones. No bedding or pillows for pull out sofa. Wa told they're were no pillows. Had to go elsewhere to take showers and bathe my kids. Alfredo was very unprofessional and lied to me time and time again. Horrible staff, horrible service. After complaining and not being addressed, had to go to another hotel. Asked for a refund, called Expedia. Expedia couldn't get anyone to take their call. Was place on hold and left there. I asked for management number and Alfredo didn't want to give it to me. I asked 4 times and was asked to call Hotel. I now know why, to blow you off. Put you on hold and leave you there until you get tired of holding. I will never rent at this hotel ever again. Very disappointing."

"First room we were given was a health hazard due to there was an ozone machine running prior and the air still had the pollutant in it. I have cancer and I already have immune system issues and this made my respiratory system go crazy. The next room was better but the property still was aging poorly and very loud and did not look clean. "
