It was nice to have the views of the lake. Wehave a 2 bdrm pet friendly suite. The place is dated. Beds were comfortable. I felt it was expensive for the dated spaces personally. If that doesn't matterto you it does the job. When we arrived there was no on available to check. After calling a number 3 times and asking other guests. Someone came to help us. I won't be staying there again.

We loved this vacation at the Desert Surfside Inn. First off - the staff and people who run this property are AMAZING! The location is perfect, the condo we were in was LOVELY. They supply just about everything you need but we would have loved coffee filters as well : ). The place smelled and looked very clean. The toilet could have been a tiny bit cleaner (around the hinges) and we would appreciate more than 2 rolls of TP. There was 5 of us so 2 rolls were gone in the first 2 days. Everyone at the Inn were so kind and helpful. Anything we asked for- they were on it! The beach is sublime and they really look after the property well. The food choices in the area is great. We ate at the Barn Owl several times, as well as FUGASA because their food is FIRE! best burgers, breakfast food and divine sandwiches. Can't say enough good things about this place. Thank you!!!

Great location. Parking lot not the largest. Didn’t want to loose our stall so glad it was easily walkable to city centre. Suite could have been more updated but nothing to really complain about. Well equipped kitchen. Very clean beach with access to beach chairs, loungers & umbrellas. Oh… and very cool that the property hosted a Canada Day bbq. Would consider staying at Surfside again.

This is such a perfect spot! Small self-contained unit perfect for two adults. With a full size fridge and a four burner cooktop. Plus a microwave. Dishes and cutlery supplied + access to barbecues on the patio. A beautiful beach with a lot of beach recliners. A quick walk over the bridge to the public beach, 10 minute walk to the nearest grocery store 15 minute walk to Main Street. Great location, really friendly and helpful staff!

Pro's: Room was small but very well appointed. Nice big TV with lots of channels. Beach chairs, loungers and umbrellas free for use. AC was quiet and ceiling fan with light was helpful. 4 BBQ's with four tables and chairs Cons: Shower head was outdated. dishes and dinner ware was mix and match. No oven. Room access was by physical key instead of fob or code.

Kitchen was very sparse with BBQ utensils, no oven mitts or hot pads. Also no scissors or dish scrubbers. No proper coffee maker, just Keurig with 3 pods for a weeks stay. Great beach though, super BBQ outdoor dining space, wonderful staff, especially the new guy.

Terrible old hotel on the main drag. Hotel is old and dated, worst of all air conditioning did not work so it was a terrible one night. Also, I question their cleaning, food from the last quest was still in the fridge. Unfortunately it was one of the few pet friendly hotels or we didn’t have much choice. I do not recommend unless you don’t have other choices.

The check in revealed that all rooms were owned by separate owners. We got unit 206 and it looked absolutely terrible for the $220 we paid through Expedia. We did consider walking away from it, but there was nothing else in town worth the while making a change. At least the bed was clean, but we had a terrible sleep. I would not recommend this place to anyone. It is dated, run down, just a dump. Heaters literally almost fell off the walls.

As advised right on the beach. Big room, clean and comfortable, two balconies, a BBQ and a walk to all bars and restaurants. Check in was a breeze and the person at check in couldn't be more helpful. I'd stay again in a heartbeat.
