They are now used during the summer by sheepherders while they graze their flocks.

There were several ruined homes here, which are now used by sheepherders during the summer, they cover the walls with tarps to make temporary homes. I found the 'reuse' of this area fascinating.

The ruins of small homes are still used as shelters by the shepherds who graze their sheep here during the summer. I was here in May 2017, and our guide said that this area was still usually covered with snow at this time.
