โI stayed here on my own after an all day work gathering, whilst there are excellent eateries around, I took some food back to my room because it is so nice and homely after a full day out. The decor and furnishings are absolutely beautiful and made my stay very comfortable. The breakfast is excellent and the staff very friendly and pleasant. โ

The room I had was decent and the food i ate both in the evening (it has a predominant seafood menu with specials) and breakfast was excellent.

โLove this little gem of a hotel. Quirky and all the rooms are very different but always comfortable. Staff are always very helpful and welcoming and breakfast and wifi is included which is a nice touch at this price range. Don't expect 5* or a perfectly maintained hotel but you will have a comfortable and great value stay in a nice location with plenty of free parking. โ

โHad a nice stay at The Evenlode. Enjoyed the food. The room had everything we needed. Power sockets in good places, always important. Check in was easy, as was check out. Staff were friendly. A little concerned that the shower seemed to have two bottle of hand wash rather than shampoo and body wash. Overall a good stay. โ
