"Check-in was smooth, and the staff were very friendly. The room was spacious, comfortable, and well-equipped with a kitchenette, which was very convenient. The bed was soft, the TV was large, and having a safe was a plus. The location is very convenient—right off the freeway, with Starbucks, Handel’s Ice Cream, and Shake Shack just outside, plus a mall with many restaurants across the street. However, while the room looked tidy, some areas didn’t feel fully clean. Plates seemed dusty, and surfaces like faucets and door handles didn’t feel properly cleaned. The shower was a major issue—very weak water pressure, slow to heat up, and the temperature kept fluctuating. Breakfast was the worst part. While there was variety and good coffee, the food quality was poor. Eggs were refrigerator-cold, even when freshly brought out, and the oatmeal was watery and partly cold. It felt unsafe to eat, so we threw everything away. There are Tesla chargers in front, but regular cars often park there, so availability is hit or miss. Overall, I liked the room and would stay again, but cleanliness and especially breakfast need serious improvement."

"We love the location, the staff was very helpful and we enjoyed making s’mores around the fire pit. This is an outstanding location for our family we have stayed in a Lanai suite many times and enjoyed all of our stays. Walking on the beach is totally California!"

"What a great stay we had over the weekend! The property was exactly what we were looking for, it's great for our family of 4. The only complaint we had was that the property is a little outdated. The window in the loft did not stay open so it was very warm up there. The shower upstairs was leaking from the shower head, so we just used the downstairs shower and the battery in the smoke alarm in the bedroom kept beeping because it needed to be changed. We loved that they had all of the things we would need for the beach, chairs, toys, etc. and we even borrowed bikes for my husband and daughter to ride! They definitely need to consider heating the pool for the cooler months because it was so cold we couldn't enjoy it, but the hot tub was very nice. For what we paid I was very happy, but I am not sure that it would be worth it during peak tourist season when I am sure the price is much higher!"

"We always stay here two nights the rate was 379.99 little expensive. The rooms are clean properly is close to everything. It’s super quiet Lady that checked us in was so so. The shower was wonderful probably the best part the actual water pressure was amazing "

"Checking in there was no office staff at the front, only a virtual check in. The room I was in was very small behind the office & was not a normal room. It was very worn down. As I pulled back the sheets, I saw a lot of black hairs and yellow stains on the sheets. I would not recommend this motel. "
