“Everything was great! Check in was really, which is a nice bonus. The hotel was close to everything (the beach, the town centre, restaurants) without being on the main busy road. And a great price for what you get. The shower was finicky though - super hot and we couldn't figure out how to change the temp.”

Although the surrounding area (3 km west of Galle Fort) is unassuming, the hotel itself is in a beautiful colonial style with every detail and unique decoration carefully thought through. The restaurant, just across the street and on the beach is also beautiful with excellent food. Highly recommended.”

“We had one night in Galle, and were lucky enough to get the ENORMOUS family room - an amazing experience for the entire family. As it was off season (late October), the hotel was quiet and there was some renovation going on, but it was beautiful and peaceful. Would definitely recommend! One thing I have to mention: The bedframe extends beyond the mattress and since it's dark wood, it's impossible to see in the dark - two of us came home with some pretty bad shin scrapes :) ”
