“What a fabulous location. An immersive rainforest experience, with a beautiful view from our balcony. You could hear a variety of birds singing. It was music to the ears and you really felt connected with nature. If you ever decide to come to Uvita, this is the place to stay. The natural materials used in the accommodation complemented the surroundings. Very pleasing to the eye all around.”

“Beautiful rainforest property with good birding opportunity, birds song, cicadas, and frogs, but "touristy", so the natural vibe gets ruined. It seems they cater to tour groups, so not very private or queit. Have to pay for 3 meals a day but on their schedule that's too late for serious birding and not as healthy as I'd prefer. I travel solo and do not enjoy sitting by myself or wasting time I could be out finding birds sitting in a restaurant. I go ut birding before daybreak so, lunch as late...

“I really enjoyed staying at Cabinas Golfito. I had a flight early in the morning, so I just walked to the airport which took less than 10 minutes. Host was extremely nice and helpful. I would definitely stay again! ”

“This is a lovely hotel, it has a huge communal area with chairs and sofas, it is all very clean and well looked after. The swimming pool was great. We had a lovely room which overlooked the swimming pool, the only problem we had was that shower in our room didn't have enough pressure during our stay. ”

“Everything was wonderful. The room was beautiful and extremely comfortable. The staff was great. Extremely attentive and friendly. It was our 56th wedding anniversary and they sent a nice chachuterie board to our room. Every evening the maid came by with a sweet treat for each room. The property is very nice and right on the bay. Very relaxing atmosphere . I would definitely consider returning to the Amaka Lodge ”

“Diese Unterkunft war die schönste,die wir bisher in costa rica hatten. Viktor hat uns freundlich empfangen und uns erzählt, dass der Kaffee, der allen zur Verfügung gestellt wird, von der Plantage seines schwiegervaters stammt. Die anlage ist geschmackvoll, mit liebe zum Detail aufgemacht, alles ist tip top sauber, die Zimmer sehr geräumig, tolle Dusche, bis auf ein paar Hunde alles sehr ruhig. Top ausgestattete und schöne Gemeinschaftsküche und Gemeinschaftsbereich, der zum verweilen einlädt....
