No nos gustó que la cena que nos ofrecieron era muy cara y era el lugar muy aislado para buscar comida a si que no cenamos la cena costaba 30 dólares por persona

Liked: Cleanliness, staff & service
Mario was a great bird guide, but the tour was only on the property. It would be nice to have night tours and birding trips off the property. The internet service could have been better. The food was good, and the staff was helpful.
Attempted to move stay from 12/26 to 12/29, owner said there were no rooms available even though rooms were available on the website and hotels.com. Way to expensive, terrible CSR (except Hotels.com CSR was great). Recommend staying at las cabanas instead or anywhere else if you have a car
Es un lugar agradable para descansar en la zona de Bajos del Toro atendido con la amabilidad de sus dueños. Ofrece una buena cantidad de senderos para caminar, habitaciones amplias y limpias, lindos jardines y comida casera

Don't recommend unless you like tent camping
Hotel was clean, things to do and hotel amenities are non existent, no ac, no tv, no bar glad I was only there 2 days,. Food was good
+ the staff was very friendly and helpfull.
- price we booked the place room was almost twice of what it was offered for during our stay.
+ breakfast was good or perfect,
- - But dinner: Do NOT eat here. any place in the neighborhood has better food.
Not just a hotel but an unforgettable experience away from the typical tourist attractions. Take a hike up to the Fatima Waterfall and enjoy the peaceful water that flows adjacent to the hotel. The staff were super friendly and helpful.
According to the website, it was supposed to be close to Volcan Poas. We were disappointed to find out that it is 2 hours from the volcano. However, we were not disappointed by the hotel or staff. It was a beautiful, tranquil place.
You're in the forest, surrounded by streams, birds, and various wildlife. The staff is helpful and attentive. The owner introduces himself, makes you feel welcome and appears genuinely interested in your satisfaction.
Can't my beds, cute rooms, good food. Definitely take time to hike around. It's positively beautiful here.

Brilliant for hummingbirds
Brilliant for hummingbirds. Excellent bird guide Daniel. Room like a cave try to get room 6 or at least upper level. dinnner a little disappointing and coffee not available early morning.
This resort was perfect, and a great value. The private preserve was great. We hiked every Km of the well maintained and marked trails. If you want a comfortable place to just relax, unwind and enjoy nature, this is it! The staff were absolutely great, very friendly and very responsive. Buy he optional meals, they were excellent and there are not many local options. We are experienced world travelers, and highly eco end this Eco-resort!
The rooms are basic, but you don't want to spend a lot of time there anyway. The feeling of being in the Garden of Eden draws you outside to the rushing little river, the dozens of hummingbirds zooming around the well-stocked feeders, the lovely grounds and the selection of hiking trails. The focus here is on conscious conservation and nature study and enjoyment, but the breakfast (included) was excellent and the dinner (extra) good. There are a couple of sodas in the village down the (very dark) hill as alternatives for supper if you have independent transport. We found the staff extremely service-oriented and helpful, and would definitely like to visit Bosque de Paz again.
The hotel is in a privately owned biological reserve, and you can watch animals and birds from the breakfast table. Our hosts gave us the warmest welcome. They were very knowledgeable and took pride in pointing at all the different birds and animals. The home cooked food was delicious.
The rooms are spacious, clean, and nicely decorated, but it felt like a waste spending too much time inside. The grounds are amazing and maintained with love and passion. There are several well marked trails, which you can explore on your own or with a guide. We took the long new trail to the waterfall, and it didn't disappoint: apart from the waterfall, we saw pacas, coati, a snake, and even some wild pigs.
