โAfter spending some days in Hong Kong and Taipei, it felt wonderful to stay at Butchards Villa, so quiet and beautiful. It is really an oasis. We were welcomed by Melissa the receptionist, she was so sweet, we were offered fruit, waffles and coffee free of charge. Our room was very big, nice bath, overlooking the front off the hotel. Strongly recommend this room! We had dinner at the hotel, food was also good.Since we had some trouble with a wrong booking after our visit in the Sun Moon Lake...

It was modern and clean hotel with kind staffs. The location was so convenient to go major places such as Carrefour, Taichung Station, and some of the famous restaurants. There is a Family Mart right across the street, it seemed like 24 hour open convenience store, so it was very comfortable. I will definitely stay in this hotel again when I go to Taichung next time."
