"Here is a shorter version under 1,500 characters: We had a wonderful stay at COCO-MAT Athens BC in Athens, Greece. The hotel was beautiful, clean, comfortable, and welcoming from the moment we arrived. The location was excellent and made it very easy to enjoy Athens. One of the best parts of this hotel was its proximity to the Acropolis, museums, and many of the main attractions. Many sites were only about a 5 to 7 minute walk from the hotel, which was perfect because it cut down on the number of taxis and Ubers we needed to pay for. The staff were excellent and very helpful throughout our stay. They gave great restaurant recommendations, including a 24-hour restaurant about 5 minutes from the hotel that was amazing. When we first arrived, our room was not quite ready, but shortly after, an open room became available. They provided us with an excellent room on the 9th floor with a wonderful view of Greece. The air conditioning was perfect and kept the room cool after long walking tours in the Athens heat. Breakfast was good, fresh, and enjoyable. COCO-MAT Athens BC was a great place to rest, refresh, and enjoy our visit. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Athens. "

"Ideal for catching the ferries from Piraeus. Great staff, very friendly and helpful. Room very clean with a great shower in the large bathroom. The hotel has a rooftop bar which has loud music in the evening until 1. Thankfully our room was located a few floors down and was quiet."

"2 night stay at the lovely hotel close to port which made for a short commute to cruise ship (10 min Uber/Taksi ride). Room was nice, however, be prepared for non-American standards (no wash cloths, slow drainage in shower, and cannot flush toilet paper in toilets. On better note, the staff was extremely helpful and provided daily fresh fruit water, lemonade and baked treats. Connecting restaurant was affordable and had a delicious menu. Several restaurants in walking distance."

"We loved this hotel. From the second we arrived the service was excellent. They allowed us an early check in and we stayed in the wellness suite. The rooftop pool and restaurant were amazing-better than pictured with spectacular views. The breakfast buffet which was included in our price was incredible. Our room was very clean as was the entire property."

"If I could give the staff 6 stars I would! From the moment I walked in they were amazing; it’s very clear they love what they do. I started with a personal 2 day stay, then a 5 day work stay; they were able to combine trips so I didn’t need to move rooms (which was so helpful)! But on top of this, my flight home was abruptly cancelled, and Loucas was quick to help and allow me to pay for an extra night in my same room. All of the staff were so helpful and friendly, but I need to specifically shoutout Loucas and Christina - they went above and beyond. The restaurant was amazing, the pool area so nice, everywhere was very clean, the lobby very relaxing. When I come back to Athens I’ll be staying here again."
