“Everything was lovely, except for our 5 hour boat ride we arranged with the hotel. The boat was having engine issues and was very slow. Because of this we visited no villages and stopped only at a village for lunch. Very disappointed. ”

The hotel is in a great position looking down over lake Garda. The facilities are perfect, the Spa and sauna are great and the massage treatment worked a treat.

The service from all staff was exceptional and the pool area was a welcome amenity in the heat of August. Be sure to take the breakfast option, as the buffet was quite exceptional. “This was a grand Villa, whch turned into a hotel in 1960. Everything is updated and beautiful. The grounds are gorgeous. Staff is wonderful. We loved our room. All was wonderful and I highly recommend. Just know that there is a 7 minute walk to the beginning of Salo's passeggiata.”
